Apollo 2 scenario

One of the early plans for the Apollo 2 mission (later cancelled) was to launch a Lunar Module on one Saturn 1b and a CSM on a second Saturn 1b, which would rendevouz with the SIVB carrying the LEM, extract it, and conduct tests in Earth orbit.
