The Attitude Set Control Panel (ASCP), located in the lower left corner of panel 1, provides a possibility to enter a total attitude using the thumbwheels. This attitude can be used to either align the GDC or to provide fly-to indications on the FDAI attitude error needles.

Usage

The ASCPAOH

Clicking with the left mouse button on the upper/lower part of the thumbwheel increases or decreases the attitude about 1°. Holding down the mouse button changes the attitude continuously. A click with the right mouse button changes 0.1° in the corresponding direction. Finally the GDC ALIGN pushbutton on panel 1 stores the attitude currently set in the ASCP in the GDC, so with that the GDC can be aligned to a given attitude (the IMU attitude for instance).
